In light of my err... misadventures last night, I figured I should probably spend the afternoon somewhere else. Preferably somewhere a good 100 miles away. I'll be back later, probably, have more MEW in the meantime:

Potentially relevant, a bigger version of the same image you posted a few hours ago:
You're welcome.

What did you do?

Nothing bad, I swear. I just took my parents' Blazer into town for a pizza late last night, got a nice thing going with the girl at the counter, we left, started discussing our musical tastes and then I kind of got some people arrested.
To be fair, they got themselves arrested, I just kind of got the attention of the police. Oh yeah, and then I drove away over a sidewalk before I got into trouble as well. All that because I politely asked them to lower their music a little and they decoded to make a scene.

Oh how kind of you lol.
Hopefully you didn't get arrested too. And if you asked politely there's really no reason not to turn down the music in a public place, sounds like they were being douches.

No, fortunately I didn't. They were being major douches, but that seems to be the way to go on beaches down here. Blast your bad music louder than everyone else's! When the douches started making a scene about me asking to tone to it down and the cops showed up, they actually sided with me, since it was well past 2 am and it's illegal to blast music after 10 pm. How that devolved into arrests is beyond me, but rumor has it they were peddling all kinds of drugs from the two cars that got towed.

Sounds like the disturbance call, and a poor attitude towards the cops led to a car search.
Typically the ones that need to shut their mouths and be polite to cops are the ones who are never polite and NEVER shut their mouths lol. If they had said, OK no problem and turned down the music, I bet the cops would have just left.
Also, a beach sounds nice right about now. We've gotten 9-10 inches of snow in the last 3 days.
